The ANGEL Visegrad Regional Webinar, held on March 12, 2025, was an important opportunity to disseminate the findings of the Teachers for a Sustainable Future project. The webinar focused on a key aspect of global education: how it is integrated into pre-service teacher training in the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia).
The event was organized by ANGEL (Academic Network on Global Education & Learning), which supports research and collaboration in the field of global education. The webinar was part of a series of regional events designed to foster dialogue and share best practices among researchers and educators.
During the webinar researchers participating in the Teachers for a Sustainable Future project presented insights based on the research results on the current state of global education in university teacher education programs, highlighting both challenges and promising practices. Discussions explored how to equip future teachers with the skills and knowledge to address global issues and foster sustainability through their teaching.
